1. Objective of the Program

  • To create awareness about pneumonia prevention and management among nursing students.
  • To encourage student participation through an Essay Writing Competition.

3. Program Inauguration

  • The event was graced by Mr. Himanshu Raghav Dadhich, Principal of the SRKPGNC Kishangarh.
  • Principal highlighted:
    • Pneumonia is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality among children worldwide.
    • Early recognition of symptoms like cough, fever, and difficulty in breathing is crucial for timely treatment.

4. Message from Director and Secretary

  • Mr. Subhash Agrawal, Director and Secretary, conveyed:
    • World Pneumonia Day emphasizes the importance of awareness, vaccination, and preventive healthcare.
    • Appreciated the efforts of faculty and students for organizing the program.

5. Essay Writing Competition

  • Theme: “Every Breath Counts: Stop Pneumonia in Its Track”
  • Students expressed their ideas on:
    • Importance of vaccination, hygiene, and nutrition
    • Role of awareness in disease prevention
