World mental health  Day-2025

World mental health  Day-2025

The Department of Mental Health Nursing at Shri R.K. Patni Girls’ Nursing College, Kishangarh, organized a program to commemorate World Mental Health Day. On this occasion, a Reel Making Competition was held to promote awareness about the significance of mental health in everyday life.

The theme for this year’s observance was “Access to Services: Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies.” The event aimed to sensitize students to the importance of ensuring accessible and effective mental health services, particularly during times of crisis.

The event was graced by the presence of  judges — Ms. Archana Kothari (Assistant Professor, Department of Education, SRKPGC, Kishangarh), Ms. Pooja Bagdi (Head, Department of Home Science, SRKPGC, Kishangarh) and Ms. Baju Devi Jat (Head, Department of Fundamental Nursing, SRKPGNC, Kishangarh).

During the event, students showcased their creativity by presenting short videos (reels) emphasizing that mental health is a fundamental human right and must not be neglected — especially during crises and emergency situations.

Competition Results:

  • Ms. Pooja Bagdi added that mental health does not merely mean the absence of mental illness, but represents a person’s ability to think clearly, manage emotions, and lead a socially balanced life.

The program was conducted by Ms. Shivani (H.O.D of Mental Health Nursing Department) and Mr. Deepak Shobhawat (Nursing Tutor). All faculty members were present on this occasion.
