Overview-
In celebration of World Tuberculosis Day, SRKPGNCCommunity Health Nursing Department organized engaging and educational events to promote awareness regarding Tuberculosis. Activities included a Flyer MakingCompetition at College campus, designed to enhance IT skills and a Nukkad Natak at ITI College, Kishangarh to raise awareness about Tuberculosis in community.
Nukkad natak at ITI college:

Objective:
1. To raise awareness regarding Tuberculosis in the community.
2.To revive and promote traditional street theatre as a medium of social awareness, creativity, and entertainment. This platform enables participants to express themselves through impactful performances while addressing regarding Tuberculosis .

Brief Description–
In an attempt to start a conversation around Tuberculosis, nursing students from SRKPGNC , created an eye opening NukkadNatak that delved into the cause and risk factor of developing TB . The storyline resonated with many because it depicted the realities faced by today’s scenario .It highlighted the significance of expert intervention which is required to treat TB, and addressing the stigma surrounding physical and psychological illnesses related to TB .Some reasons for the occurrence of TBhave been discussed in the play. While initially patient and their family member does not know the risk factor & causes and maintain healthy life style although accepting good healthy habits and maintain tuberculosis their family`s tries to discover an answer through conservative means by consulting a baba, they soon find that consulting a medical professional is the best way to treat tuberculosis .Throughout the performance, the audience was immersed into the protagonist’s journey, witnessing the inner struggles and societal pressures that frequently accompany Tuberculosis patient .By portraying the protagonist’s reluctance to seek professional help and then eventually finding relief though DOTS ( Direct Observation Treatment Short course) therapy.To sum up, the NukkadNatak helped to raise awareness of causing , risk factor myth treatment and government initiatives regardinmg tuberculosis , challenging preconceived notions and promoting acceptance and support for people living with TB .Through the power of storytelling, the students connected with the audience, moved their minds, and encouraged them to take action to break the taboo around Tuberculosis

Summary:
A powerful Nukkad Natak was performed by students of SRKPGNC on 24/03/2025 at ITI college, Kishangarh. The play revolved around prevention of Tuberculosis and conveyed a strong message to the audience.

Summary:
The flyer making competition was organized on 24/03/2025 at computer lab of SRKPGNC. The theme of the competition was –Yes! We Can End TB: Commit, Invest, Deliver and participants were tasked with creating visually appealing and informative flyers.
Winners:
First Place: KajalKacchawa (B.Sc (N) IV Semester)
Second Place: AnjumBano(GNM 1ST Year)
Third Place: GunjanDadhich((B.Sc (N)IstSemester)
Judges’ Feedback:
The judges praised the participants for their confidence, creativity, and ability to create visually appealing and informative flyers. They also provided constructive feedback on areas for improvement, such as use of graphics and typography skills.
Conclusion:
World Tuberculosis Day activities at ITI College and College Campus successfully achieved their goals of developing designing skills in students and raising awareness among community. The nukkad natak session conveyed its message to the audience. The Flyer competition offered a platform for participants to express their creativity and showcase their design skills. Both events were well-received and highlighted the importance of community engagement and promoting awareness.
