The GNM diploma in RK Girls College is the ideal gateway to nursing, midwifery, and allied health disciplines. It provides an excellent foundation for entry into undergraduate degree courses. A diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) helps students build a profession in Health, Prevention of Illness, and Care & Rehabilitation of the sick.

G.N.M [General Nursing and Midwifery]:- It is a three year Diploma course designed for aspirants who want to pursue a career in clinical Nursing.

» The curriculum includes a six month mandatory internship at the end of the course and the diploma is granted only after candidates complete this internship.

» The program teaches aspirants how to care for the individuals who are sick or have been injured in order to help them attain full recovery.

Eligibility of GNM Diploma:

a) Minimum education eligibility criteria for admission: – 10+2 with minimum 40% marks from any recognized board, however Science is preferable.
b) Candidates are also eligible from state open school recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government.
c) Age:-Minimum age for the admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
d) Students shall be medically fit.
