International Women’s Day was organized jointly by Shri Ratanlal Kanwarlal Patni Girls Nursing College and Shri Ratanlal Kanwarlal Patni Girls College. On this occasion, the Principal of the Nursing College, Mr. Himanshu Raghav Dadhich, and the Principal of the Degree College, Mr. Shailendra Kumar Patni, were present.

During the program, students presented dance, poetry, speeches, acting, and a fancy dress performance. The Secretary and Director of the college, Mr. Subhash Agrawal, conveyed his message and extended his greetings on International Women’s Day. He said that women should unite and work together to eliminate social evils and continue moving forward with determination toward their goals.

The Principal of the Nursing College stated that he feels very proud to inform that Mrs. Amrapali V. Kheersagar, a Nursing Officer working at the District Government Hospital in Amravati, has been honored with the prestigious “Global Women Icon Award 2026” for her outstanding service.

For more than 20 years, she has been serving patients with complete dedication. Her commitment toward the health of women and children, and her work for social welfare, is an inspiration for all of us. Her success teaches us that through hard work and a spirit of service, we can not only bring change in society but also achieve recognition at the global level.

The Principal of the Degree College also said that women have played an important role in the history of the country, and today women are demonstrating their abilities in every field—from space exploration to submarine operations.

In the Fancy Dress Competition,

• First place:AksharaSamariya (5th Semester, Arts)
• Second place:AnamikaRathore (B.Sc. Nursing, 1st Semester)
• Third place:Upasana Chauhan (5th Semester, Arts)

The judges for the program were AnkitaPareek, Ruchi Mishra, and Tripti Dadhich.

On this occasion, fourth-class women employees of the Nursing College and Degree College were also honored.

The program was conducted by Ms. Shabnam Bano, Assistant Professor of the Nursing College and NSS Programme Officer. Faculty members of both the Nursing College and Degree College were also present during the event.
